Investments in Construction sector is now secure and NO QUESTIONs will be asked from the Investor regarding the Source of Income.

1. No question will be asked about investment in construction sector this year
2. Fix Tax Regime for construction sector
3. 90 percent Fixed Tax will be waved off if invested in Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme
4. All With Holding Taxes waved off
5. Federal Government will discuss with Provinces regarding sales tax reduction. Punjab and KPK have reduced sales tax to 2 percent
6. No Capital Gain Tax will be charged in case of Family house sell
7. Rs 30 Billion Subsidy for Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme
8. Status of Industry to Construction sector
9. Construction Industry Development Board to be u established for development of Construction Industry

Fixed tax has been implemented. Tax will now be collected on Per square foot OR per square yard basis. PLUS if the tax is from NAYA PAKISTAN HOUSING SCHEME project. Then in the existing fixed tax, 90% will be waived off as well

Withholding tax on all Construction related and Allied industries have been 100% waived off including the services industry. Tax will only be collected from Cement and Steel Industry

Sales tax will be consolidated to one tax slab. Punjab and Kpk have consolidated all Provisional taxes to 2%. SINDH AND BALOCHISTAN  have been asked to lower their provisional taxes for the construction industry and allied services. A decision will be taken soon on this

Construction sector is now being recognized as an industry and a Construction Industry Development Board is being made in coordination with Federal and Provisional governments which will promote and resolve construction industry matters.
